A former Deputy Governor of Ekiti State, Prof Modupe Adelabu, has identified better ways to fund and manage education.

Governor of Ekiti State, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, has flagged off the N3.3 billion urban water sector reform project jointly sponsored by the World Bank and the state government.

Mr Adeosun Abayomi of an Aramoko Magistrates’ Court, on Wednesday, sentenced nine people including a traditional title holder and a cleric to six months in prison each for open defecation in Ekiti State.

The state’s Acting Head of Service (HOS), Mrs Peju Babafemi, said this after she had inspected the secretariat on Wednesday.

The Ekiti State Governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, has charged residents of the state to always protect public utilities in their domains by preventing vandals from destroying them.
