The group also called on Fayemi not to overlook the interest of the people of Ekiti State in choosing All Progressives Congress ( APC ) candidates , saying that only popular and acceptable candidate can win election in a free and fair contest and that it is on this basis that NANS can support any candidate presented by APC in Ekiti State .
“We want to remind Dr Fayemi that his victory was based on acceptability and popularity , hence the need to thread on this path so that his administration can have the best people in position to compliment his developmental agenda.
We want the people’s voice to be heard by selecting their candidate in a democratic process that President Muhammadu Buhari government is preaching, ” it said.
